Another day in Kabul.

I'm having a really cool time here strangely enough.
The show last night was awsome, no mic, so I had to just shout, but they were great! Man that will be a hard one to top, of course the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders arrive today, so we got competition for tonights show. But i'm sure I'm funnier than them.

I question the logic of sending scantily clad women as entertainment to a place where sex is strictly forbidden. (Directive one, no sex, no alchohol and violations subject to immediate court marshal- wow that sounds alot like another group who used to be in power in Afghanistan....;)
I think they should just send over some porn stars, these guys would love it. But the strange thing about the military is the cultural disconnect from the guys in charge to the soldiers. The guys in charge really have a conservative agenda that is fine, but it really gets imposed on the lower ranks who do not in anyway seem to share their POV. For example they are trying to limit profanity. This seems crazy! You cannot tell a person that they can kill, but they cannot swear. That is what I mean by a massive disconnect from up top. Anyways it still works on some levels, and these soldiers are really great people. It's hard to comprehend what a commitment it is to be here on their part, and when it registers you are shocked by your feelings of respect for them. Anyways will chat tommorrow, I only get a little bit of time a day at the PC.
Ciao bitches.
